Cosmetic Procedures

We offer following cosmetic procedures:

Dysport

Dysport™ is a prescription injection for temporary improvement in the look for moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults.

Xeomin

Xeomin® is a prescription medication used in facial aesthetics to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar frown lines between the eyes (glabellar lines) in adults.

Chemical peels

Chemical peels can be used to treat a wide range of skin conditions. These include fine lines and wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, freckles, dark spots (or age spots), sun-damage, and acne scars. Depending on your skin type and desired outcome we will select a peel or series of peels that minimize down-time and maximize results. Please contact our office for additional information on chemical peel treatments.

Juvederm

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC is an FDA-approved hyaluronic acid soft tissue filler. The filler has been available for use in Europe for 12 years and used in 72 countries throughout the world. Comprised of a lidocaine formula, JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC adds comfort during the treatment. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC also known as Voluma XC injectable gel is the first and only filler that is FDA-approved to instantly display increases in volume to the cheeks. The treatment provides a subtle lift, helping to restore both contour and more overall youth to your profile. The treatment is for patients over the age of 21 and results are displayed for up to 2 years.

Restylane

Restylane-L® could be used to add volume and fullness to the skin and to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). Restylane may also be used for lip enhancement.

Restylane® Lyft is approved by the FDA for cheek augmentation and the correction of age-related midface contour deficiencies. This is in addition to treating moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (smile lines).

Radiesse

Radiesse is a synthetic injectable filler that has been approved by the FDA to reduce moderate-to-severe wrinkles, folds, and creases around the nose and mouth by stimulating the natural production of collagen in the skin.

Belotero

Belotero is a hyaluronic acid-based injectable filler, much like Juvederm or Restylane. FDA approved in 2011, the gel is said to temporarily add volume to the skin and give a smoother appearance.

Perlane

Perlane is injectable cosmetic dermal filler that has been used to soften wrinkles and facial lines of individuals. It is also a popular filler for lip augmentation, facial depressions, and facial scarring. It can be used in both sexes.

Perlane injections can be used to improve the contour of facial skin, decrease unsightly wrinkles, and reduce fine lines around the nose, folds, scars, and other facial skin depressions and last for up to 6-8 months.

Side effects are uncommon and include temporary redness, swelling, itching or tenderness, usually resolved in a few weeks.

Glycolic Acid Peels

Glycolic Peels are now considered to be the most advanced form of facial available. The Alpha Hydroxy Acid ‘Glycolic Peel’ is derived from sugar cane and has the smallest molecular structure of the AHA family. It can therefore penetrate into the skin much more effectively than other Alpha Hydroxy Acids. It is not absorbed in to the body and so will not cause any systemic side effects like chemicals in other peels.

Sclerotherapy For Varicose Veins

Sclerotherapy is a procedure that can reduce the appearance of spider veins and reticular veins. Sclerotherapy is performed by injecting the problem vein with a sclerosing agent that irritates the vein lining, causing it to constrict. Over time the vein fades as it is naturally reabsorbed by the body. This redirects blood flow to other, healthier, veins located deeper beneath the surface skin. The procedure is most commonly performed for cosmetic reasons. Patients should have an in-office consult prior to scheduling to determine if the veins in question are good treatment candidates for sclerotherapy. The procedure itself takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Since the injection needle is so small, patients often feel little pain and do not need any anesthesia.

Varicose vein treatment: Lasers are great tools for eliminating spider veins and small varicose veins. Our healthcare providers use a unique high-powered laser that can destroy unwanted veins without affecting the skin. The system also features innovative cooling technology that helps ensure patient comfort during the short procedure. While some patients may experience redness, swelling, or mild discoloration, side effects are generally minimal. There are no long-term side effects and no downtime. Most patients tolerate the procedure well. To completely clear unwanted veins, you may need multiple sessions.
